Personally, one of our favorite months in Las Vegas- it’s the greatest time of year for weather… and it means HALLOWEEN! And with Halloween comes a multitude of fundamentals- Trick-or-Treating, costumes, pumpkin carving, Halloween parties, CANDY, getting the pee scared out of you (BOO!), family time, and so much more!
There’s nothing like the next 3 months of fall and the large holidays that follow. Between Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, we’ve all got our hands full through to the end of the year. And Belle Medical Vegas is here to ensure you the best holiday experience possible!
Therefore, we wanted to provide you with some fun and random tips for this Halloween!
#1- H is for HD Body Sculpting!
While there are a plethora of spooky things to be afraid of this holiday season, HD Body Sculpting is not one of them!
We know it may look a wee bit intimidating, but trust us- it is certainly not a Halloween exposé. Our procedure is a minimally invasive, less aggressive form of liposuction!
Contrary to liposuction, HD Body Sculpting uses a local anesthesia, rather than a general, so that our patients can be awake during their procedure!
All the while, you get to google fun DIY Halloween projects to do with the family while you get your problem areas sculpted! If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, perhaps watching a scary Halloween movie during your procedure sounds appealing? Get yourself in the Halloween spirit and your body ready for that form fitting costume you plan to wear this season. You’re going to look great!
#2- A is for Amplifying the Fun!
A is for- Amplifying the Fun!
While you only need a few days to recover from your procedure, you can certainly implement those DIY Halloween projects you were googling during your procedure.
There is a whole myriad of fun to be had with the family this Halloween. Spend the day indulging in some Halloween DIY projects for cute decorations or baking fun.
Maybe you have some leftover glass jars in that recycling bin you can paint white and make into little ghost decorations. Or perhaps turn those jars into a spooky Halloween terrarium. The fun is endless with DIY projects!
Here’s a few to get your gears going!
#3- L is for Laughter with the Family
L is for- Laughter with the Family
Don’t take this spooky holiday too seriously! Have a funny day carving silly faces into pumpkins, or running around the house under a white sheet making ghost noises!
Maybe you are close with your neighbors. Why not get the neighborhood together for a makeshift holiday party or pumpkin patch gathering! Have you played the Boo game with your neighbors?
What is the boo game you ask? Leave a treat on neighbor’s porch with a note saying they’ve been “booed”. Ring the doorbell and run. (light exercise after your procedure is never a bad idea!) After that, your neighbor should put up a sign saying they’ve already gotten booed, then they are supposed to ‘boo” someone else.
You can find some Boo game sign templates here!
Here’s a list of creative activities you can do with the family this Halloween season:

We all know Halloween’s number 1 purpose- CANDY. But you just had your HD Body Sculpting procedure! So you’re thinking “How can I enjoy Halloween without eating candy?”
We’ve got to get creative this Halloween now don’t we? Such as making tasty, but light candies or goodies for ourselves and the family.
This holiday season, branch out and try making your healthy choice goodies! Maybe try some small delicious stratas and pies.
Natural sugars are better than those of High Fructose Corn Syrup found in candies. You can still have a tasty and exciting holiday, minus the products your body can’t process!

#5- O is for Outstanding Parties
O is for- Outstanding Parties!
Make it one to remember- branch out and consider throwing a Halloween party.
Invite the family and the neighbors to come over and indulge in great conversation, Halloween games, and some of your healthy choice Goodies! Or get a little wacky and bring in some red Vampire wine! Halloween parties can be fun for both you and the kids at the same time.
It’s the one time of year we get to dress up, pretend to be someone else, and get free candy! Or.. well your kids get free candy, and then you get to eat some of it right?
#6- W is for the World
W is for- the World
Fun Halloween fact- did you know that the US isn’t the only country who celebrates Halloween? In fact, Halloween actually originated in Ireland, dating all the way back to the Celtic and Pagan rituals and festivals from thousands of years ago.
Ireland and Scotland indulge in their traditions of games, bonfires, and a traditional dish called Barmbrack each Halloween. This a kind of fruit cake, and inside each lies something special for the eater. A muslim-wrapped treat is baked inside the cakes, and is said to foretell the eater’s future.
For example, if a ring is found inside, that means the person will soon be wed. If a piece of straw is found, it means that a prosperous year is ahead!
Mexico celebrates their own version of Halloween- DÍa De Los Muertos. The Day Of The Dead is meant to honor those who have passed away.
“It is believed that the Gates of Heaven open up at midnight on October 31 and the souls of children return to Earth to be reunited with their families for 24 hours. On November 2, the souls of adults come down from heaven to join in the festivities.”
Romania celebrates the Day of Dracula. People from all over the world come to celebrate Halloween at Vlad “The Impaler” Tepes’s supposed home at Bran Castle in Transylvania, Romania.
Japan celebrates the Kawasaki Halloween Parade each year.
Pangangaluluwa is a tradition in the Philippines. This is where children go door to door, often in costumes, to sing and ask for prayers for those stuck in purgatory.
#7- E is for an Eventful Halloween
E is for- an Eventful Halloween!
In Ireland, where it all began, Halloween games and events are the only way they celebrate! Try integrating some of these fun halloween games into your Halloween parties, or even just with the family!
In Ireland, they play a game called “snap-apple”, which is when an apple on a string is tied to a doorframe or tree. The players attempt to bite the hanging apple. Parents also arrange treasure hunts, with candy or pastries!
There is also a Irish card game played often on this holiday. The cards are laid face down on a table with candy or coins underneath them. The children choose the card and get the treats beneath them!
Children also plays games on their neighbors in Ireland, called “knock-a-dolly”. In America, this is essentially ding-dong-ditching! Why not right?

E is for- Exercise!
In the midst of all the fun and treats, don’t forget to workout and exercise after your procedure! It is necessary to integrate some light cardio exercises after a procedure. Especially during the holidays, when it seems we are constantly indulging in home cooked meals with the family, treats, and lots of love.
Your light exercises can be as simple as walking around the neighborhood for a hour, doing some light cardio at the gym, or perhaps even light yoga!
